SQUARE² is an original comic strip series by Kiblind, published every Sunday on Instagram.
For my chapter, I drew inspiration from traditional East Asian painting to tell four quiet stories — each centered around a creature:
a crane, a butterfly, a frog, and a squirrel.

During my two years studying textile design at university, I developed a deep fascination with the interplay between illustration and fashion. This inspired me to explore how flat, two-dimensional artwork could transform into three-dimensional forms like clothing and accessories. In my personal projects, I often draw inspiration from nature, particularly plants and flowers, which influence both my patterns and compositions.
